A lip flip uses a small amount of Botox to relax the muscle above the upper lip, causing it to roll slightly outward and appear fuller without adding volume. We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment and use filler that contains lidocaine, a built-in anesthetic. Most patients describe mild pressure or a slight pinching sensation. The entire treatment takes 30–45 minutes and most people are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is.
